ابراهام لينكولن هو الرئيس السادس عشر للولايات المتحدة الأمريكية ..
من مواليد 12 فبراير 1809 الى 15 ابريل 1865 ، قاد بلاده بنجاح في أقسى أزمة داخلية مرت على بلاده ألا وهي الحرب الأهليه الأمريكية ، حيث استطاع الإحتفاظ باتحاد الولايات الأمريكية وأنهى العبودية.
كان أول رئيس أمريكي يتم اغتياله في تاريخ الولايات الأمريكية المتحدة.
كان ابراهام لينكولن محاميا في ولاية الينويز وتم ترشيحه مرتين في " US senate "
كان والديه " توماس ونانسي" مزارعين غير متعلمين.
توفيت والدته وكان عمره 9 اعوام وتزوج والده بسيدة تدعى ساره بوش جونستون والذي كان ابراهام لينكولن مقربا لها.
تزوج في 4 نوفمبر 1842 م من ماري تود وأنجبوا 4 أولاد . حيث توفى 3 منهم في طفولتهم وأيام مراهقتهم أما روبرت تود لينكولن فتم على قيد الحياة ووصل الى سن الشباب.
ابراهام لينكولن يكره صيد الحيوانات والأسماك كما يكره اللحوم في طعامه.
ويعتبر لينكولن أطول رئيس للولايات المتحدة الأمريكية من حيث القامة حيث يبلغ طوله 193سم ( 6 قدم و 4إنش)
دخل السياسة وعمره 23 عام سنة 1832م وكان من الحزب الجمهوري.
اغتياله :-
اغتيل على يد الممثل المعروف والجاسوس جون ويلكس بوث من ماريلند.
وضع في بادئ الأمر خطة لإختطافه مقابل الإفراج عن بعض السجناء ، ولكنه غير خطته فيما بعد بعد ان استمع الى خطاب لينكولن في 11 ابريل عن اعطاء السود حق الإنتخاب..
علم بوث عن نية السيدة الأولى في حضور مسرحية في مسرح فورد. وللأسف الشديد خرج لينكولن من دون حارسه الشخصي وحضر المسرحية والتي تدعى ابن عمنا الأمريكي في 1865م.
وجلس الرئيس في مقصورته رقم 7 ، انتظر بوث الى آخر المسرحيه حيث توجد مقطع ضاحك على أمل أن يطغى صوت ضحك الجمهور على صوت طلقة الرصاصة .
وعندما ارتفع صوت الجمهور قفز الى مقصورة الرئيس واطلق النار عليه من الخلف وفي رأسه ( كانت طلقة واحدة). واستطاع ان يلوذ بالفرار على الرغم من اصابته بكسر في ساقه.
بعد 12 يوم من مطاردته في كل مكان تم ايجاد بوث وقتله..
أما الرئيس فكانت اصابته قاتله حيث ظل في غيبوبة لمدة 9 ساعات بعد اطلاق الرصاص عليه وتوفي في الساعة 7:22 صباحا من يوم 15 ابريل من سنة 1865م.
- نقل جثته الى ولاية الينويز بالقطار حيث تم دفنه هناك ..

It was his parents' Thomas and Nancy "uneducated farmers.
His mother died the age of 9 years old and married his father, a lady called Sarah Bush Johnston and Abraham Lincoln, who was close to her.
He married in November 4, 1842 m of Mary Todd and gave birth to four children. Where three of them died in their childhood and adolescence days Robert Todd Lincoln Vtm alive and arrived at a young age.
Abraham Lincoln hated hunting and fishing also hates meat in his food.
Lincoln is the tallest president of the United States of America in terms of stature with a length of 193 cm (6 feet, 4 inches)
He entered politics at the age of 23 in the year 1832 and it was the Republican Party.
His assassination: -
Assassinated by a well-known actor and spy John Wilkes Booth of Maryland.
Put in a plan to initially kidnapped in exchange for the release of some prisoners, but it is not his plan later Having listened to the speech of Lincoln in April 11 to give blacks the right to vote ..
Booth knew about the intention of the First Lady to attend a play at Ford's Theater. Unfortunately Lincoln came out without his bodyguard and attended the play and called the son of the American cousins in 1865.
President sat in his cabin No. 7, wait for Booth to the end of the play where there giggled clip hoping to drown out the sound of the audience laughed at the sound of the bullet shot.
When the public voice rose jumped into the compartment President and shot him in the back of his head (it was one shot). He was able to flee despite a broken leg.
After 12 days of chasing everywhere found Booth and kill him ..
The President was suffering a killer where he remained in a coma for nine hours after being shot and died at 7:22 pm on April 15 of the year 1865.
